Tex-San Pest Control was founded in 1970 by Bob Wilson. At that time, the pest control industry was in its infancy. As time progressed, and the customer base grew, the company grew more solid every day. In 1973, Tex-San expanded to spraying trees. This action alone more than doubled the customer base. Pecan trees, fruit trees and live oak trees were all treated for pests and ball moss.

In 1976, Chuck, Bob's youngest son started working part-time with Tex-San doing most of the tree work service.

In 1986, Drew, the oldest son came into the business and worked building the customer base. A year or two later, Drew left for a civil service job.

In 1990, Bob retired from pest control, and Chuck retired from full time law enforcement, devoting his time into pest control.

In June, 1993, Chuck returned to law enforcement after winning the election as DeWitt County Precienct 1 Constable. During this time, Chuck was still able to build the business while maintaining his law enforcement duties.

In 2005, Chuck retired as constable, having served more than 32 years as a peace officer. Since then, he has devoted all of his time to Pest Control.

In 2008, Tex-San celebrates its 38th year in business. To all of those customers past and present, Tex-San extends its sincere appreciation for your patronage.
